Weight Lift Bench, Weider 400, ATomasik, V1 3D Model
A free 3D model by Luke Turner
(AKA Luqu, Luqu Trnr, Lukon100, Volcanoface, Doubt45, Illuwuz).
"QUICKLY NOW, I JUST INSTALLED IT BUT CAN'T FIND IT. WHERE IS IT?"
In the content manager it is here:

Note: If I revise this model and re-issue it, I will increment all instances of the "V1" to "V2" and so on.
This V1 release is meant to be a "beta" release.
Help me improve future releases by sending me critiques and requests for features.
BACKGROUND
I liked the Weider 400 weight lift bench that ATomasik made in Blender and put up on Blendswap. So I adapted it for use in Daz Studio‥
ATomasik released this model under the CC0 license.
SHORTCOMINGS
This 3D model ain't perfect. Its construction reflects my current beginner's skill level with Blender and Daz.
But it looks ok from a typical distance, I think.
The cushioning is not easily squishable. I tried adding the smoothing modifier to do collision stuff, but the geometry "exploded" d-force style when I did. Weird.
The torso pad is a bit under-designed. There's no professional-looking attachment for it at the lower end. But most other stuff looks ok enough to forgive that, I suspect.
There's some useless, hidden geometry I neglected to omit, some bolts that hold some cushions. Damn.
VERSIONS AND FEATURES
This V1 release download includes the model in DAZ Studio format and .obj format.
The Daz Studio verasion is rigged for easy posing. The control sliders for the moving parts are in the "Parameters" tab.
Daz Studio version has some pose presets to put the weights on the weight bar, and the weight bar on the weight bar stand.
The Daz Studio version is set to base resolution only. I think it looks fine like that, so long as you also keep the "Angle" property of the frame surface set to a low value like 20.
The "R Clip" that secures the weights to the thigh lift gizmo is a separate free model that I released earlier. That entire release is included in this download package. If you already got my "R Clip" earlier, you'll likely be asked to replace those earlier files with new copies. If so, either accepting or declining will be fine.
That "R Clip" will appear automatically on the subset assembly of the bench with all the weights on it. Otherwise, if you need that "R Clip" separately, load it from its native file location path, which is:

SURFACES
Few surfaces are UV mapped. Again, I don't think they need such.
INSTALLING THE DAZ STUDIO FORMATTED VERSION on a WINDOWS computer
The usual procedure. If you don't yet know the usual procedure, here's my version of it that should work fine:
1. Unzip the download to some temporary folder, or some folder you have for just this sort of thing.
2. In the resulting unzipped folder structure, open the "Content" folder.
3. MERGE, rather than just copy, the two folders "data" and "Props" to your DAZ 3D Library.
Merging is an option you can pick when trying to copy. So start by simply trying to copy.
BUT… when the "Confirm Folder Replace" window pops up,
click on the "More…" word in the lower left corner to bring up the window that gives you the option to merge.
4. Click the "Yes" button.
The location of your DAZ 3D Library is likely to be: C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library
…given a standard DAZ Studio installation.
INSTALLING THE DAZ STUDIO FORMATTED VERSION on a MACINTOSH computer

Please feed my ego by crediting ATomasik and me when you publish pictures featuring this model.
In fact, my condition for commercial renders or subsumed redistribution
is that I be notified of its use so I can brag about it.

ATomasik released this model under Blendswap's CC0 license. It thus began as open source free stuff, and should remain so.
