6-Pounder :
SIX POUNDER CANNON - MODEL 1841 - American Civil War Field Gun
Towed Field Gun
The Model 1841 6-Pounder field gun proved the standard artillery piece for both sides of the American Civil War in its first year. The M1841 6-pounder field gun was a smoothbore muzzle-loading cannon that was adopted by the United States Army in 1841 and used from the Mexican American War to the American Civil War. It fired a 6.1 lb (2.8 kg) round shot up to a distance of 1,523 yd (1,393 m) at 5Deg elevation.
12-Pounder :
The British medium 12-Pounder Cannon, Armstrong design M1736 was a very popular choice on the Battlefields
36 - Pounder Naval Cannon :
Installed on the lower deck of the larger warships, the 36-pounder long gun was the largest caliber used in the Navy of the Age of the Sail. A 36-pounder required a 14-man crew, comprising one chief gunner, 12 gunners and one powder-boy.
