BlendSync Export / Import Plugin for Substance and Unreal
With BlendSync, you can export any number of static meshes from Blender to (and from) Unreal Engine and Substance Painter with materials and textures automatically set up.
Export from Blender to Unreal Engine 5
Just click Export to UE5: and your meshes and materials are send to Unreal. Press Import Assets to bring them to Unreal Engine 5!
*with Materials and Textures!
Automatic Material Creation
BlendSync automatically creates material instances and connects all textures for you. Each instance gives you access to dozens of parameters, which you can tweak directly inside Unreal Engine — without going back to Blender.
Powerful Material Instances
You can instantly adjust things like base color, saturation, roughness, metallic strength, emissive color and intensity, detail normals, dirt, and many more.
It’s a powerful and flexible system that lets you fine-tune the final look of your assets in seconds.
Clean and ordered workflow
All assets land in correct folders, no need to move them around after importing to Unreal Engine.
Automatic glass detection
BlendSync detects any material with the word “glassin its name and automatically assigns a special glass shader.
Emissive Materials work too!
BlendSync exports also emissive maps and connects them to material instance in Unreal. Emission strength and color are fully adjustable within material instances.
Export cameras and Lights!
BlendSync since v1.0.4 exports also cameras and lighting from Blender to Unreal! Just press "Export Cameras and Lights" in Blender and import them in Unreal via new Cams and Lights Import button in Unreal widget. Exported lights are placed in right positions, with right color and proportional intensity. HDRI map is automatically exported too.
Export from Unreal Engine to Blender
You can also export your meshes and materials from Unreal Engine to Blender the same way!
Export from Blender to Substance Painter
Just click Export to SP: and your meshes and materials are send to Substance Painter. Press Import Assets to bring them to Substance Painter!
