Kira Samurai Hat for Genesis 3, 8 and 9
Want the dress too? Here it is: dforce-cien-fleur-dress-for-genesis-8-8-1-females
The Kira Hat is a Kasa inspired by the design worn by the samurai, which is named "jingasa". The jingasa was one among the several types of kasa but irrefutably the most famous worldwide. The jingasa was also worn by the "ashigaru" who were soldiers who fought alongside the samurai.
I aimed to retain the original design of the jingasa while adding a bit of complexity to its simple but functionally protective design. 288 joints control the surrounding hanging adornments of links, gems, and my original design of what I call "tablets".
Contrary to the solid iron design of the jingasa, I created armored panels that make any warrior immediately intimidating. The Kira Hat was created in ZBrush and rigged in Maya.
The Kira Hat can be worn by Genesis 3, Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1, and Genesis 9 characters of any gender.
6 adjustment dials are included with the Kira Hat:
Hat Height (adjust to accommodate common height varieties)
Spread Links (controls 288 joints to spread all links radially)
Swing Forwards or Backwards (controls all 288 joints)
Swing Left or Right (controls all 288 joints)
Tilt Forwards or Backwards (controls kasa position)
Tilt Left or Right (controls kasa position)
The Kira Hat can be found in the Props Category of your Content Library since it can be smart parented to any head.
Daz Studio Installation: Unzip, cut, copy or drag and drop the data, props and runtime folders into your "My Library" folder where all of your Daz 3D Content resides.
Additional Notes: Can be exported to Blender via Daz Studio's Official Daz to Blender Bridge (think of GoZ). If you don't need the rigging, then GoZ it to ZBrush which is useful for those looking to 3D Print this awesome Jingasa/Samurai Hat.
