Love the idea and the render but have you thought about using ghost lights? kit 1 is my go to.

Thu, Jul 18, 2024Only Hdri on this render. ( emissive windows on buildings).
I often use invisible light kit (from daz) pretty similar to ghost light. Ray is more visible with fog.
