How To Create a Custom Genesis 8 Character in Daz StudioMonday, October 08 2018 by RenderHub
This session brings you through setting up essential beginning steps, moving on to face and body morphs. It then guides you through the process of exporting your character to Blender or the software of your choice. Loading morphs, adjusting joints and linking are covered next within Daz Studio.
Setting up these types of product assets for sale is covered in detail. This video will have you ready to not only create custom characters, but also, setup and sell your assets efficiently.
Ion, let me say this video is a Godsend. The only question I have has to do with the section at the end - improving the look of the _ctrl, _fbm and _fhm icons in the character folder. You mentioned they have to be like 91px, and then you mentioned 256px, sizes. I don't completely understand how you, let's say, replace the head apply/remove icon with the _fhm icon.
Well done, covered all bases in a easily understandable articulate instruction.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial.
I have a problem, despite several attempts.
Morphs are inactive when I click on them.
I don't understand what why?
Can you help me. Thank you in advance.
Hi Causam. Sorry nobody has responded to you. I think notifications must not be working for the blog section. I sent Ion a message to let him know.
To answer your question... Yes - he has a tutorial right here:
Very helpful Ion. Do you have any tutorials on character texturing?
