We are at the worlds premier conference and exhibition for computer graphics and interactive techniques - where researchers, artists, studios, and toolmakers unveil breakthroughs in rendering, animation, simulation, HCI, and XR. Its equal parts science fair and creative playground, packed with jaw-dropping demos, paper sessions, production talks, and an expo that previews the future of visual computing.
SIGGRAPH 2025 doubled down on real-time everything and interoperability. Highlights included maturing real-time path tracing and neural graphics workflows, steady progress around OpenUSD and MaterialX for predictable cross-app pipelines, practical GenAI use cases for 3D content prep, and a sharp focus on memory/IO performance over raw compute. XR and volumetric capture felt more production-ready, and the shows throughline was clear: research-to-production is accelerating, standards are stabilizing, and teams are prioritizing repeatable, data-driven pipelines that scale.
