DD Three Bedroom House Yard and Pool for DAZ Studio
A yard for my Three Bedroom House for daz studio with a pool in the back yard, surrounded by a privacy fence. The gates are rigged to open like you would expect. As with my house, the daz3d shaders on the fence is easy to customize the color to your own tastes. I included a lower resolution map preload just like my house, and it leverages the same image maps as well.
The grass was made by taking advantage of the instancing system built into daz studio using a few groups of grass clumps, so it's not quite as heavy as full on geometry. The pool water was made using a fluid simulation to try and get a fairly realistic surface shape.
The grass and water load in as hidden by default, I recommend you wait until ready to render to turn grass visible, as that much geometry can slow the view port down. Be sure to check in render optimizations that instancing is set to memory if it hangs when you start the render, I had some trouble when it was set to auto a few times.
