Brooches G8F
A collection of 10 simple brooches, as in a clasp for a cloak, rigged in DAZ Studio for Genesis 8 Female. A small assortment of Iray materials for the frame and inset of each are included that can be mixed and matched for a huge variety of combinations. These items are intended for use with my Capes and Cloaks set, but they can be used with any garment you like since they don't really depend on any other item, but if you didn't already have the Capes and Cloaks set it can be gotten free here:
capes-and-cloaks-g8f
To use: select the G8F character in your scene, and load the desired brooch from the content library. If you are using one of the garments from my Capes and Cloaks set, you will probably want to hide the original brooch; a materials preset that does this is included with both the Capes and Cloaks set and with this set. The brooch has its own bone, a child of the lower neck; so if the neck is bent or twisted, and the brooch needs to be rotated or repositioned, you can easily do so by just picking the brooch geometry with the standard manipulator tools and rotating/moving it as necessary. It can even be scaled, if you want it to be smaller or larger!
Set materials as you like from the included Materials files. NB: these make extensive use of reflection, refraction and other complex material features, and are very lighting- and scene-dependent. If you don't have any lights or objects in your scene for these materials to react against you will need to adjust materials settings.
