You asked, and you shall receive... We just created a dedicated Poser section on RenderHub!
1. You can now find a link to Poser content in the main menu.
2. Vendors can upload Poser assets using the Daz / Poser Content Product Type.
3. The main Poser figures have been added as a Compatible Figure on the product submission page.
-----
CLICK HERE to see the new Poser section.
Since this is a brand-new section, we'll need more products as soon as possible.
Please help spread the word and encourage your favorite Poser content creators to start uploading!
As always, we'd love to hear your feedback. Feel free to reply to this thread with any questions or suggestions.

Right on! I am not a Poser content creator. I don't have Poser on my computers. But I support RenderHub supporting Poser-heads.
Also, the only Poser-targeted figure I ever used was the Antonia that people adapted to Daz. And on that note, I offer this insight: Behind only La Femme, the most recent Poser-targeted female figure I saw getting products made for it was the Poser-only version of Antonia. It therefore seems surprising to me that Antonia is not on that menu list of Poser figures.

Tue, Apr 22Seconding this, I dunno what the criteria are for how this list was chosen but Antonia was probably the most popular non-DAZ Poser figure including any of the ones actually published with Poser.
An observation: the menu header for Daz/Poser Content still says just "Daz Content". I'll bet that makes it extra difficult for Poser-heads new to RenderHub to figure out where Poser content actually is.

Tue, Apr 22Since there is very little Poser content at the moment, the decision was made to not add a completely separate menu item for it.
If this turns out to be a popular thing here, changes can certainly be made to the menu.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi,
I cannot list my Poser products !
We need a
- Poser Original Figure -
Option.
Otherwise it is listed as Daz Content.
Thank You !

Thu, Apr 24I totally agree, I think it would be good if articles in Poser format could have a specific independent menu (Poser Content) with its detailed submenu just like there is a Daz Content menu

Thu, Apr 24Hi guy91600, just once a silly question: above in the screenshot I see the model compatibility (LaFemme, Pauline, etc). Is that not what you want? I'm not familiar with Poser at all ...

Thu, Apr 24Hi Pushee-Ri,
With Daz Studio, it's possible to load Poser objects (pp2 and cr2 files are text files that Daz Studio can interpret).
But Poser is unable to interpret Daz Studio's duf files, which are compressed, hence my suggestion to create a specific menu for Poser.
It would also be easier for Poser users to find all the products for their favorite software.
I'm new to Poser, and I must admit that I'm a little lost with the interface and how to adapt clothing to a character and manage textures...

Thu, Apr 24@guy91600:
Thanks for the info
As far as I know, the user interface - as with Bryce, for example - is somewhat ... a bit of getting used to. Thanks to Kai Krause

There are a lot of more Poser figures . So a Poser Original Figure option would help , so that they will be listed under Poser Content.
Not every Poser Cloth is for the Poser Figures that are from Smith Micro.
Many Ppl also use the Genertion 4 only in Poser and not in DAZ Studio.
I have tons of Poser Stuff for other Poser Figures .

Thu, Apr 24We can always add some to the list, do you have suggestions for ones that are still popular and should be added.
I have no idea.
Maybe Michael 4, Victoria 4 and Kids 4.
Antonia
But i need a category where i can add the clothes for other Poser figures , so that i can start uploading.
The Clothes for Bong are now in Daz content

Antonia was just added, and Poser clothing appears correctly now.
https://www.renderhub.com/kare3d/doc-bong
On that one, you should edit the category / subcategory though...
You added it as Costumes / Doctors - but Clothing / (Outfits or Uniforms) would be better.

You could name it
Poser Stand Alone Figure
So that we can upload clothes there.
Places for Poser lights, environment, shader, materials, props could be useful too.

Maybe more ppl will upload older products too or Freebies from Sharecg maybe.

Thu, Apr 24@KaRe3D - The categories are working now. For props and other non-figure-dependent items - for "Compatible Figure", you would select the new "Not Poser Figure Dependent" option. Then, those items will show up like this:

https://www.renderhub.com/den/vehicles-series-i2d-racing-motobike-for-poser-cr2

Fri, Apr 25Thank you for separating the Poser articles from the Daz Studio articles.
I think Poser users will appreciate not having to sort through Daz articles anymore.

Thu, Apr 24Sure thing! Please let us know if you have any other suggestions. We're not the Poser experts, but you are.

I am far away from being an expert*g*
Is it possible to adjust the listing in the storefronts too ?

Poser figure maybe.

Sun, Apr 27Noted... I just tagged @RenderHub above so they're aware. Thanks!
Suggestions :
Miki 1,2,3 and 4. 2 and 4 are updates from 1 and 3 respectively. Miki2 has/had the most content. Possibly still on sale at Renderosity.
Project Evolution : still the best bending Poser figure in my opinion. Too bad development halted because the creator and Renderosity had a disagreement.

Great joint bends did not compensate for that inhuman face
that had no morphs to change it from its hideous default
Quote:Too bad development halted because the creator and Renderosity had a disagreement.
The creator wanted to be allowed to sell his creation at a competing website & store when every other vendor was prohibited from using the Renderosity forums for such offsite promotions.
He even had the audacity to expect Smith micro to update Poser itself to make it compatible with HIS figures exotic nonstandard rigging !!!
He was actually getting away with his duplicity for a bit ,which enraged "Black Hearted" and inspired him to release
Lafemme as freebie poser native figure allowing the poser owners to make her the Default included Poser female
Project Evolution's creator could have continued to sell and support his exotic figure over at CGbytes
he quit of his own accord.

Whatever the reasons, it's another promising Poser figure project dead in the water, abandoned.

Is Evolution that ugly ?

Yep…ugly
withNo ethnic variety morphs or major body type variations beyond some pointy elf ears.
Just alot of Nerdy Mcnerd techno babble about joint deformations from the "faction" of the poser loyalist
that were fans of the creator.
Now while subjective opinions will vary on the attractiveness
of the base figure ultimately what matters is will third party content creators endure the vicissitudes of manually decoding the figures exotic rigging and risk making content for it in hopes of getting a ROI.
This has been the bane of all of the many third party savior figures that have come and gone for poser since Daz dropped the Poser/obj/CR2 format for their DSON genesis figures built to a uniform standard that All vendors can support with a reliable knowledge base on content creation standards.
In the particular case of "Project E"
First it had "Duke Nukem " levels of failed delivery promises spanning years IIRC
At one point he claimed she would be able wear Vicky 4 clothes but was quickly reminded that Daz would crucify him
if he did copy any Daz tech/shapes etc.
some of its features exceed posers literal ability to implement and only apparently worked in 3DS Max where he built the figure.
The release of Lafemme 1 not only preceded the long delayed release of "project E"
and was immediately embraced by the Rendo management, but Lafemme was built as pure native poser figure that took advantage the latest advances in the version of poser figure tech that was out at that time such as face posing chips etc.

I did just post my own thread about this, but:
"There is NO way to post Poser item without it being tagged DAZ by the website automatically.
95% of my items are available for Poser and Daz, but there are a few that are poser only. The problem is there is NO way to remove the Daz tag. I'm being rated 1 star on an item because the website has tagged it as daz, even though I've done nothing to make it "daz" and even stated Poser 10 only, NOT for Daz3d.
Am I missing something here? How can I post a poser item and NOT have it say it's for daz automatically by the system? I've tried putting it in the description so people can read, but then they don't read.
...
Well, I've done everything I can to show that, on certain items, they are poser only... but now I'm getting 1 star reviews because they didn't read on the second paragraph
***NOTES***
NOT for Daz3d
I just wish that it didn't say "daz" by default i guess is what I'm saying..."
