What Kinds Of Scenes Do You Want To See Available?
154I am a scene artist, I recently finished off my train scene, and I am in the brainstorming stage for my next creation. What kinds of scenes would you like to see being made available for sale?

I just looked at your train, but I was surprised that there weren't any tracks. It's possible that compatible tracks are already for sale on RenderHub, in which case, post the link so your buyers have a coherent set.

Sun, May 25yeah some tracks and a station are high on my brainstorm list. I couldn't figure out a good way to rig the train to actually move right or I probably would have just included them. Like straight track is easy, but once I tried to make it turn a corner, stupid wheels would not stay on the rail no matter what I tried lol.
Well yeah, that's a really complicated set of engineering problems, and in the real world there's very hard limits on turn radius and inclines, or the real train comes off the rails, so no surprise there. If I were you I would not even try to make a turn sharper than real world limits:

For your (or anyone's) brain storming..
Specific scenes? Still looking for a well detailed (with asphalt, lines, parking blocks, and curbs) parking lot, parking lights for clandestine meetings would be a bonus. A 50's style lover's lane (romantic point above all the hustle and bustle). Party bus (Batchelor/Hen parties).
Generic scenes? Always looking for vignettes: corner booth (Han totally fired first), Front or back steps, and small manageable bits of terrain (for imaginary or realistic battles).
Observations: Make it customizable (props vs "glued on" geometry). "Threshold" vignettes are uncommon (finished interiors and exteriors where one could start a scene on one side of a window/door and move inside (without having to delete or hide most of a building). There's a classic ladder to the window troupe would be fun.
Well, that's a wall of text.. hope you find some of it useful.

Wed, May 28Helpful for sure. Some stuff like that is what I was thinking of doing too. Way too many scenes I render can be helped out by some distant terrain to break up the horizon. I have been experimenting, haven't had anything that looks good enough to sell yet.
