There is a new bill that could be passed by the senate in the states that I believe will result in not only shutting renderhub, but many other gallery posting sites, down, due to users exploiting child, or selling them, even mildly.

It is time to remove everyone exploiting children on here. And do it now. To those that have. Get lost. You've done enough damage and I warned about this.
My personal recommendation. If you have rendered a child. Delete it. Rendehub needs to allow you to delete. Not just remove. Also. Renderhub needs to stop relying and just replying to report the users. That won't fly anymore. Do your job. Or lose your site if this bill passes. That's my personal recommendation. If you sell them you're probably fucked and will likely be the cause of such a shut down or removal. Get lost if this bill passes is my best advice.
This is exactly what I was hinting at in the ai forum. There is karma that comes with caving to needs of the few made out to be the many.

Tue, Jun 17I recommend deleting or at the very least removing any galleries of children, even if they are appropriate. For even mild exploitation has been brought up in regards to this bill. You and renderhub will not be the ones making thay judgement. Act accordingly.
It is a shame. All due to a few bad apples we all risk at losing everything we enjoy and our privacy. I recommend that people wake the hell up and realize that our leadership is using exploitation as an excuse to destroy our right to privacy. Those that exploit need to be dealt with now and things need to change or we will lose out. Just saying. Again. Do with this as you will. I only warned you. That's it.

So, I understand your post fully, so I do hope that my response isn't taken as disrespect as I just want to contribute to this thread, but this might not go out this way.
It's only illegal if the model's existence is for an illegal context. Otherwise, seeing as though games like The Last Of Us, Life is Strange, The Sims, This War Of Mine, and The Walking Dead have children characters in generally mature themes, this is constitutionally protected speech, at least in America. Again, this protection applies as long as the work is not "obscene" under the separate and stringent Miller test (which considers community standards and whether the work lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value).
I do fully agree that the illegal models should be gone, but to suggest that EVERY kid 3D model should be gone just sounds a bit like an over exaggeration, considering there are even minor characters from animes on here (popular examples: Nezuko & Pre-Timeskip Luffy from One Piece.)

Wed, Jun 18I actually have both of his characters and there is nothing about them that could be considered "underage". If anything, his body shapes are more realistic than all the overmorphed boobs, butt, hips and thighs that is so prevalent in most of the characters being sold these days. Not saying that is bad, just that not everyone is into "Thicc" though we had a different word for it back in my day.
I didn't dive to deep into the pedo aspect of this bill because I don't have too. It's the privacy that they are after anyways or these losers would be in prison where they belong. I see any exploitation. You're not getting reported to renderhub. So you better hope you're right.

I think the policy for use and sale of child models on Renderhub is pretty clear. Most of the 3D sites that are not Renderotica are crystal clear on that, they have had to be. That's been a big issue for years now, as far back as I can recall.
