OK, lets talk about pubes.....

Well, that got your attention.
I have Jepes omni body hair sets for G8, G8.1 and G9 male. They work great with the official Daz genitalia products and the Dicktator.
Problem I'm having is when using a different genitalia set.
The pubic mound that attaches directly to the body is fine. However the attachment for the genitals itself wont, well, attach properly.
Is there a way around this or do I need to load the genitalia attachment as a prop, manoeuvre it into place after the figure is posed and then parent it?
Moogee.

I recently began experimenting with a custom navel design. I'm not certain if this is directly related, but the primary challenge I encountered was that the areas requiring detailed work needed multiple levels of geometry subdivision. Unfortunately, DAZ's built-in subdivision system didn't cooperate well, nor did it accurately calculate face normals. As a result, I attempted to use an attachment with a different subdivision level than the base figure, but that approach also proved unsuccessful, as the attachment appeared distorted and unnatural. It seems that DAZ generally requires every quad to align with the base model's subdivision, or it intentionally disrupts the outcome.

Tue, Aug 12Sorry Moogee – no answer for you (not yet, but I need to test it myself).
@Luxe:
Did you create the attachment as a graft? I'm struggling with this myself at the moment (G9) and am slowly going crazy – even crazier than I already am. As far as I have read, only the outer vertices/edges of a graft need to match the origin. Everything else—i.e., the interior—can be divided up however you like. That's the theory, at least... but so far, even after numerous experiments, it hasn't worked for me.

Tue, Aug 12You're right; I crafted them as a graft. In the initial iterations, indeed most of them, I included an outer ring of geometry that aligns with the base. As the geometry moves toward the center, I subdivide the quads to provide enough geometry in the navel area for detail modeling. I also explored keeping a larger section of the original geometry, maintaining two rows of unaltered base quads before beginning the subdivision process.
Hello Luxe
Thank you for the response. Much appreciated. To be honest a lot of that went right over my head.

My technically know-how of Daz Studio could be written on the back of a postage stamp.
As the genitalia is a separate attachment to the body I'm not sure what impact the navel would have.
Jepes body hair for the genital area is in 2 parts. One part - the pubic mound - attaches to the main body of the figure which attaches without problem. The second part attaches to the genitals themselves but there are only fits for the Daz official anatomical elements and the Dicktator.
So I'm looking for a workaround for the genitals themselves.

Tue, Aug 12@Moogee To be honest, screenshots of the issue would be helpful for everyone (not that I wish to see a penis, hi, hi, hi). I was simply hoping that the challenges I’ve encountered with geografts might spark a moment of clarity for you.
Hi Moogee,
I've been thinking about your problem. But before I go on and on about grafts and stuff, here's a simpler idea:
Since you won't be able to contact Jepe (Hair) (it's tricky in the DAZ Shop), you could write to the producer of the Little Willi instead. I assume you got the product from 'rotica? Then you can either send a PM or use the email address of the CC. If neither works, you could post your question in the forum there ('rotica).
I know - that doesn't help you right now... but maybe in the long run?
Another option might be to post a few wireframe screenshots of the little worms etc. here - then the problems could be better assessed ... maybe
Good luck
