Remember dForce's predecessor: OptiTex Dynamic Clothes?
So you can discover or rediscover this tool, I made this dress.

Fri, Sep 12Thanks for reminding me that dynamic clothing is still relevant. In some situations, you can quickly get a result that's pretty close to reality. I feel like I prefer dynamic clothing to dForce!

Fri, Sep 12I remember my first steps with Optitex in Studio and how much fun that was.
But it was just for simulations, I never saw any possibility to create clothing with it.
Or have I missed something there?

I find it way more stable than D-force.
I tried make the Dynamic cloth control " explode " on purpose by creating an animation with a wide hip female walking with her hands intentionally passing through her hips and dress.
she tore her dress apart, but the simulation finished with no crashing.
so we can theoretically create some cool cloth ripping effects with this as well.

This is a cloth simulation system
that uses a proprietary closed form called "Dyncloth"
that Optitex refused to share with the Daz PAs back then.
Read about how that closed format was defeated here:
