Bake Animation Offset Script
Fix "floating" feet, intersecting hands, or incorrect posture in just a couple of clicks! This script set allows you to adjust the pose on Frame 0 and automatically transfer this change (offset) to the entire animation timeline. Perfect for working with Motion Capture and aniBlocks.
Tired of fixing every single keyframe manually?
Have you purchased an animation or are you using MoCap, but the character's pose is slightly off? Are the feet "floating" above the floor, hands clipping through clothing, or is the body tilt looking unnatural? previously, you had to use complex aniLayers or move dozens of keys manually.
Animation Offset Baker solves this problem in seconds.
This tool works on the "Offset" principle. You simply adjust the pose exactly how you need it on the first frame, and the script mathematically transfers this change to every single frame of your animation, preserving all the nuances of the original motion.
How does it work?
It is a simple two-step process that saves hours of work:
Step 1 (Snapshot): Select your character and run the first script. It instantly memorizes the position of every bone in the hierarchy.
Correction: Adjust the pose in the viewport (you can use Active Pose, PowerPose, or standard sliders). Drop the character to the floor, move an arm away from the body, or rotate the head.
Step 2 (Bake): Run the second script. It calculates the difference and "bakes" it directly into the animation keys across the entire timeline.
Key Features:
Smart Hierarchy Capture: Just select the root object (e.g., Genesis), and the script automatically handles the entire skeleton, including fingers and face.
Scene Safety: The script works strictly with the selected character. If there are multiple figures in the scene, the others remain untouched.
Direct Keyframe Writing: Uses the reliable setKeyValue method, guaranteeing stable results without breaking interpolation curves.
Works with Everything: Supports Translation, Rotation, and morphs with numeric values.
Universal Compatibility: Perfectly compatible with Genesis 8, 8.1, 9, and any other figures with a standard bone hierarchy.
Forget about routine keyframe editing. Focus on creativity with Animation Offset Baker!

You should specify if your script supports DS 2025, As there really are no animation. tools that support that version at the moment.

Tue, Dec 16, 2025the script has been tested in version 4.24 and earlier. I haven't tested the script in version 2025 yet, as it is in Alpha version. If you want to test the script in version 2025, I can provide it for free for testing.
Hi, thanks for the offer.
But I have transitioned completely over to AI for my animation work.
I was merely suggesting that you specify in your product description that it has not been tested in DS 2025, because as it stands now, it merely states "Daz studio", which may confuse some people who are trying to get animation tools for DS 2025.

If the script permanently removes the sliding feet from almost any figure, could you post a video fixing this bug? It's the hardest bug to fix in animations and Aniblocks. Thanks.

Thu, Dec 18, 2025When you import a walk, the feet slip when they touch the ground; they don't stay in contact with the ground. Fix that bug?
