Thu, Apr 20, 2023I already downloaded it but I don't know how to get it from there into Daz. I've modded it into a couple games where facial expressions don't matter, but complex weight mapping, like in facial rigging, is beyond me. Is there a good system for carrying the original rigging over into Daz?

Thu, Apr 20, 2023I will not download it. Then I would do a test. If I find a solution I will add it.
If I can't find a solution, I'll say so too

Thu, Apr 20, 2023I just downloaded, it's an xps file and Daz does not manage this product. I do not know this extension and I do not know with which software the character was created.
To use it in DAZ Studio you have to convert it into an obj file and then you have to import it with figure setup then use joint editor, Node Weight Map Brush, Paint Brush Mode, Sphere Gradient Mode
In summary, there are hours of work and a certain technicality.

Thu, Apr 20, 2023Oh, I probably should've mentioned I've already converted it to an OBJ using the Blender xps plugin. That OBJ is what I used for the game mods, but it was a little wonky. It's how I found out I suck a weight mapping. I could get the large areas to work well, but the small details like fingers and face got worse and worse the more I tried to fix them.
I convert Xnalara models, to daz, $65.00 dollars, the minimum, regards.

Fri, Apr 21, 2023A certain famous porter from Diaz, charges you at least 50 dollars, he does not fix the textures, he does not correct with extra mosphs (JCMs), the errors that always appear in the eyes, the articulations of the character and the clothes, he does a basic to poor job, I correct all those errors.
Bringing a game character to Daz is a long job, because it is practically redoing the character, it is not something that is done by pressing a script and automatically you have ported the character to Daz, the price I give you is one of the cheapest ,because you can charge up to 150 to 300 dollars to make the character you want, because it is done professionally, you are commissioning an artisan job from someone who really knows how to do it, and they charge for what they know how to do, greetings.

Fri, Apr 21, 2023So, the price could be $65 to $300?
This will be my first time commissioning something. What's the process?

Fri, Apr 21, 2023Watch this friend's video, you will get an idea of all the work involved in porting a game model to Daz.
and that he does not correct important things, in fact a good portage can take you 3 days, that already knowing how to do it professionally, if you are a novice up to 15 days.

Keep in mind that the character will likely not be compatible with any generation of Genesis or Michael. I mean, we'll have to make him suitable clothes. If you do not know how to make clothes, you will have to take this into account to evaluate the total cost.

Sat, Apr 22, 2023If there are practically no other "human" characters than Genesis and Michael for Daz, it's no coincidence. It is that it is necessary each time to create a wardrobe for him.
I just wanted to bring that to your attention.
The solution may be to create a morph for Genesis 8 or 9 which allows you to use whatever exists for that character.
Since it's a morph, the person who created it has a better chance of finding other buyers, which explains why we find a morph from $25

Sat, Apr 22, 2023Ah, thank you. I didn't know how to phrase it correctly. A genesis 8 morph sounds like what I was looking for.
