Hello,
I just bought the product Real Pussy Morphs For Genesis 8 Female Genitalia by X3D. The product description states "**Requires Genesis 8 Genitalia" and, accordingly to the answers to this thread How to install Real Pussy For Genesis 8 Female? it looks like they are included in the Genesis 8 product.
Therefore, I guess I should be fine. Instead, I am not... I try to apply the presets (like "Real Pussy Shape 01") but I can see no change. Also DAZ Studio provides no feedback about the results of the operations and silently does nothing.
Does anybody can help me to understand what is going on?

In general no genitalia is supplied with Genesis.
For Genesis 8 there are several from different suppliers.
I therefore advise you to contact the seller and ask them to specify the version to use and the link to download the correct version.
Maybe it's GENESIS 8 FEMALE ANATOMICAL ELEMENTS

his product. To know how to read is not essentiell for live, but it can help in some cases

That product requires the Genesis 8 Female Anatomical Elements, which can be found in various bundles like Victoria 8 Pro Bundle.
If you do not have the required item and don't wish to purchase one of the bundles that has it, feel free to contact Support and request a refund.

Thu, Sep 21, 2023yea, to make the gentexture, it is a bit tricky.
I have an old version of skinbuilder with the possibility to use the bodymap for anatomical elements.
Only in a few of my products I build it in. Many work for a think that not really nessessary.
So I leave it. It is a shaderfile to give the dazgen texturecoordinates to the textures.
With that file installet, you can use bodytexture as gentexture on all figures genesis 8 female.
But only if anatomical elements are used. Skibuilder in the latest Version has build it in but no discription
for it uses to find. So I build the genmapping only into a few of my products. As I newer get a replay or a
request for my products, I leave it as it is, no extra work to doe. By request, I can name the products in my store.

I think I am going for the refund. There are some things of the Daz3D store policy that concerns me. For example I don't see why "Genesis 8 Female Anatomical Elements" is shipped only with bundles (mmmh... Casually, all above 100 $): there is no other option to get this asset. Not to complain but it seems like they want to "force" us to buy bundles (those of us that are interested in such asset). Moreovere this is not clearly stated in any official document... Among a bunch of other things that are not clearly documented (look for example at the missing documentation of the Shader Mixer pane). All the possible informations are scattered around the forums (here or the official one), badly organized and (most of the times) hard to understand for a newbie like me.

I'd hang on to it. If you have Daz+, October is the month were stuff gets cheap, including sometimes pro bundles for ridiculous discounts, especially given that Genesis 9 is over a year old and genesis 8 products are now starting to be counted as "legacy." They're good morphs, worth the price. I made the same stupid mistake when I bought that product, as it was within my first couple weeks of using Daz. It didn't take long until I found a good deal for the required stuff.

daz has great SALES , you have to be careful, their sale can be 80% proof or more!! you don't want to end up with a lime hat in the alley behind dqz (because you don't have to go home, but you can't stay there )
