advice needed from fellow comic makers

hi. my timing as ever has been off and I would welcome some advice.
Having been using poser for Years and currently have poser 11 I have not long ago made the jump to learn Daz3d having tried a few times in the past. I do not find it easy to use and I think it's expensive but I plod on because I like the look of the models to make comics. I should also say that I do have a good pc with a great processor, but it has no Graphics card so rendering is a slow process for me.
That said I can get to the problem to consider.
I recently began a new webcomic and began working on it posting updates and so on. however this new situation with Daz3d monthly payment thing has made me wonder if long term they plan to move to a monthly payment model to use Daz3d (the same way clip studio paint did) . I have a choice to make while the comic is in it's first chapter weather to keep it as daz3d or to start over and make it fully poser11 ?
If I make it Poser I have more things to work with having collected poser stuff for over 30 years but I have to waist the money I spent and loose the cool Characters I now have (they are Gen 8 and wont move to poser)
however if I keep with Daz3d I am more or less starting from scratch on environment's, props , poses, hair and clothing and if they do make it a monthly payment situation I don't have that budget so will be stuck with a limited comic situation. I hate scrapping projects before story end so I really have to decide now and as much as I try I just cannot decide what way to go on this one?
some advice would be most helpful and appreciated my fellow arty people.
regards Marius.

Nothing wrong with Poser. I switched to Daz about 10 years ago when they made everything .duf and Posers future was on hiatus. I still think working in Poser was easier, especially working with point and spotlights. Something else to think about, you'll need a nvidia card if you want to work with the Iray render engine and I still prefer Poser over Daz's 3DL rendering.
Anyhows, if you already have the assets for Poser, I'd just stick with Poser. I just looked at an old render that somehow survived the trip between computers of Blackhearted's GND4 and while small, I'm use to rendering in 4k landscape, it looks really good and I might even add more artistic than I can get out of Daz's Iray without some photoshop.

Yes daz lighting is kicking my bum to learn. I think I have more or less decided to stick with poser and consider the money i have already spent with daz is just a learning curve expense.
