Breathless Prologue Tranquil Waters
3D Render by BatdadRecently I heard the story of an expectant family that learned their unborn child had Pulmonary agenesis. A rare disease where the child forms no lungs. The birth of this kind has a 100% death rate. Because our laws are rooted in religion and not reason, the family was unable to terminate the pregnancy. The child was dead after 90 minutes. I can't help but think, for the entirety of this child's life, 9 months and 90 minutes this person lived... breathless. From tragedy of life comes fantasy of art. I bring you a story called Breathless.
