RenderHub's core mission is to cultivate an all-embracing community that welcomes a wide spectrum of creative expressions and themes. To maintain a safe, inspiring, and collaborative environment, users are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is constructive and respectful of others at all times. These guidelines apply to all forms of communication across the entire RenderHub platform, including the forums, galleries, sitemail (direct messages), product pages, or any other interaction method.
To provide clarity, the term "interaction" encompasses any material you post or any message you send. This Code of Conduct exists to protect our creators, ensure operational integrity, and guarantee that RenderHub remains a professional and welcoming space for everyone.
Community behavior on RenderHub is broken down into these interaction types.
| Interaction Type | Policy |
|---|---|
| Constructive Feedback : Respectful critiques, technical advice, and encouraging comments intended to help fellow artists grow and improve their craft. | ✓ Encouraged |
| Collaboration : Teaming up on projects, sharing resources in designated areas, and respectfully discussing techniques. | ✓ Allowed |
| Hate Speech & Discrimination : Language, imagery, or behavior that attacks, degrades, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. | ✘ Forbidden |
| Harassment & Personal Attacks : Destructive, abusive, or defamatory communications targeting another user. This includes initiating personal attacks as well as retaliation. | ✘ Forbidden |
| Spam & Community Disruption : Activities or destructive commentary that deliberately disrupt normal community operations, flood threads, or attack others. | ✘ Forbidden |
| Doxxing & Privacy Violations : Sharing another user's personal, real-world information (name, address, phone number, private social media) without their explicit consent. | ✘ Forbidden |
We highly encourage users to support one another through constructive feedback. When offering a critique, focus on the artwork rather than the artist. Ensure your comments are helpful, specific, and polite. If a user explicitly states they are not looking for critique, please respect their boundaries.
RenderHub thrives on shared knowledge, joint projects, and teamwork. We encourage creators to collaborate on 2D and 3D artistic works, share workflow insights, and build resources together in designated community spaces. When participating in joint projects, ensure that all contributing artists receive clear, proper credit on the final submission. Do not use collaboration inquiries as a pretext to solicit free labor or unauthorized access to a vendor's paid store assets.
RenderHub maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding hate speech and discrimination. The internet is diverse, and so is our community. We do not permit any content or behavior that promotes violence, incites hatred, or uses slurs against protected groups.
Policy Violations
Violations of this policy are considered severe. Depending on the context and severity, engaging in hate speech will result in immediate content removal, account strikes, or permanent account termination without warning.
Harassment and personal attacks will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes destructive, abusive, or defamatory communications targeted at individuals in the forums, galleries, sitemail, or anywhere else on the platform.
The No-Retaliation Rule
If you are targeted by a personal attack or harassment from another user, do not retaliate with an attack of your own. Retaliation violates this Code of Conduct just as the initial attack does. Instead, remain civil and immediately report the incident to RenderHub staff so we can handle it appropriately.
Users are prohibited from engaging in any activity or posting destructive commentary with the explicit intent to disrupt, attack, or negatively affect the normal operations of the RenderHub community. This encompasses flooding forums or user inboxes with repetitive messages, leaving malicious product reviews unrelated to product quality, and posting unsolicited commercial promotions outside of designated vendor areas.
The safety of our community members in the real world is paramount. Do not publish, threaten to publish, or encourage others to publish someone's private, real-world information. This includes full names, physical addresses, places of employment, and personal phone numbers. Any attempt to dox a member of RenderHub will result in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities if necessary.
RenderHub relies on the community to help keep our platform safe. If you feel you are being harassed, targeted by personal attacks, or witnessing a violation of this Code of Conduct, please use the "Report Message" button or reporting tools attached to the content to immediately notify RenderHub staff.
Moderation Actions
Our team reviews all reports carefully. Harassing, abusive, or disruptive messages will be deleted from the platform. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, the sending user may be warned, issued an account strike, or permanently banned from the website as RenderHub staff sees fit.
