3D Render by Aci Kay**Just a friendly reminder that being somewhat flat chested is no indication of someone's age. I can confirm nnggh. The character depicted is very much over 18.**
Alrighty, so a bit ago someone messaged me asking if I do commissions. I initially declined, since while I do *writing* comms here and there to help me through uni, rendering has always just been a hobby. (And an expensive one at that...) Buuuut after giving it some thought I got kind of intrigued, and asked what they were wanting...
And was promptly introduced to something called the MSC, or "Men's Swimsuit Challenge." I'm hazy on where exactly this originated, as far as I can tell it was Reddit which has a dedicated subreddit on the topic (but then, I'm pretty sure everything has a subreddit by now...) but it's pretty much just what is says on the box. Women wearing men's boardshorts. The "twist" is that it pretty much always involves flat-chested, or at least small-breasted women (often sporting short hair, too, although the commissioner had a different style in mind for this pic). And, like, honestly? I'm a fan. #freethenip and all that. Even if boardshorts do seem kinda baggy for swimming in.
Now, there's an interested side to all of this, because there seems to be something of a "pass" factor to the MSC, and I dunno if it's from a casual, wholesome point of view or a voyeuristic one. I.e., if a woman can "pass" as a man because she's wearing the boardies and doesn't have obvious breasts, which I'm not going to try and say doesn't have obvious parallels to the trans experience, and the things trans folks have to consider every day in the current social climate. There's also an interesting conversation to be had about why exactly breasts are considered explicit material, and the fact that an absence of what we consider 'a breast' still needs to be covered up based on us labelling ourselves or others binarily. Ie., ladies cover up, men have at it, even though some men are going to have larger 'breasts' than women because it's all just fat in a body. And now with gen9 being a unified mesh, that whole area gets even more grey. I find it all very interesting, anyway!
(A good example of all this in function is that I'm going to have to label this image as "nudity in thumbnail", which is a higher tier than sexualisation, despite it being, as far as I'm concerned anyway, entirely non-sexual in nature.)
Anyway, essay over, the long story short is that I figured why not, I'll have some fun and do a commission. It was a fantastic experience, the commissioner was wonderful to work with (thank youuu), and since I'm in essence a writer I included a fun little story to go along with it, though I'll just be sharing the images on here.
And if ya read this far, thank you, it's always a nice little dopamine boost to see the likes and comments, and I want ya to know you are very much appreciated, by me and many others I'm sure!
