I#d go for no. 2 also, skin looks better on this one, and the face is visible better, too.

I start adding my first camera once the key stuff is in the viewport, but usually 2-3 additional cameras "grow" with the adding of details. In the end, I klick through them to find the one I like best. The only thing I forget frequently is to add more space around my subject, which would give me a chance to include a tilted angle later in post. Just a thought from my workflow.
