Fri, Jan 24Thanks! Its probably alittle more of a pearlescent white then say the one that my friend had back in the day plus it might be because of the lighting. I really struggle trying to get white cars and such not to blow out!
In you render you have "strange shadows" on the door front and door bottom. Look at my render. The BODY paint and DOOR paint angle is 50.
I hope it will help in the future.

Fri, Jan 24Yeah, I'm actually going to start over. Thought the shadows and such were from the hdri light I used but I'm getting the shadows no matter what shader or lighting I use.

Fri, Jan 24Oh ya. Angle. I've only recently learned about the Angle property myself, and now I realize why so many of my renders of cars, for example, have had huge beveled door panel cracks - especially cars that come from formats other than for Daz.
The default angle is very high in DAZ: 89.90. This is for low poly objects. Some models, like the ones I create, have many polygons and are very detailed, so some parts need far less surfaces angle. ( between 30 - for the tyres - and 60 ). This is the same in Poser , but the angle must be around 10/20 sometimes.
