Mandinhotep
3D Render by vixcosmenPossibly, the ill-fated Mandinhotep was the first graffiti artist in history. Cartouches bearing his name and strange scribbles alongside them could be seen engraved on many of the Fourth Dynasty monuments, at least for a brief period until they were erased by the pharaoh's followers and the temple censors.
His masterpiece was carved on the Great Pyramid, but it also cost him his life. Led by the priests, a furious mob of fanatics removed the limestone covering from the Great Pyramid and stoned Mandinhotep with it.
His art was always at odds with the capricious aesthetic commands of the pharaohs and the egos of their commercial slaves, and his work, destroyed, was completely forgotten over time. Perhaps for this reason, he was also the first misunderstood artist.
This is a tribute to poor Mandinhotep.

As someone interested in Egyptology I can confirm this is the reason so little remains of the great pyramids casing stones.

Thu, May 29Thank you very much, Mr. Taured. The truth is, I no longer believe in the judgment of ghost judges (do they exist?). They might find something more beautiful, that's their taste, but they don't have a fucking clue about 3D.
I posted an entry for the last contest and deleted it today. You can see it on Artstation (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8BDOEx). It's not the first time they've changed the rules or the completion time, and on top of that, they respond like police officers, neither clarifying nor resolving issues. I'm fed up with contests, I'm not entering any more.
