I Never Just Get to Have a Normal Day (Peril Scene)
3D Render by nick_brown1967Scene - Why do I never get to have just a normal boring day.
Ever the explorer.
But after making a rookie mistake. That being not shooting first and asking questions later, ended up with her being overcome by some wannabe Relic Hunters.
Coming too and wondering why her world is inverted... The realization settles in that she's upside down and trussed up like a sack of potatoes.
She hears her captors getting ready to leave and as they do one of them is pratting around on the flagstones.... A very loud 'CLICK' is heard from the flagstone underfoot followed by chuckles from her Captors as they clumsily exit the chamber. That click meant nothing good was coming her way and she knew it.
This is quickly followed by the rushing of water that has been gathering under her being pushed aside rather rapidly.
Something was coming up fast from below and she did not like the way this was looking.
The spike beds break through the surface water and as they do so reveal their secrets.
Those secrets being in the form of the last victims of their rather nasty and very brutal pointed tips.
This was not at all how she envisioned her day ending. Well she says to no one in particular 'At least I now know what became of the 'Purple Ladies' But on the otherhand it looks like I am about to share their fate....

Yes. there was a fair amount put into it... long CPU only render also... Ageing laptop, which although has nvidia inbuilt, tends to fold up and run into a corner crying whenever Iray tries to use it... Shared memory etc.... Again glad you liked it and thanks for the comment
