Scene - Stealth.

She can't believe how warm the sea is as she slips from the boat wreckage used to make good their escape into the water.
Grasping the knife between gritted teeth she is now free to use her arms to concentrate on the task of staying afloat. She see's her shipmate still grasping vainly to the rapidly sinking dingy and the now huge hulk of the ship that sent her captains to the depths of a watery grave appears looming against the fog and smoke backdrop from the firefight.

At least the torrential rain storm might give that ships crew more to concern themselves with than scouring the sea for prisoners to summarily hang for piracy. She was all too aware of the instant justice that Naval ships carry out on captured pirates.
