Haha yes, although being brought up in the early days of gaming, i certainly appreciate the "Imporvements" in graphical fidelity, but lately theres been a lot of what i like to call "Digital pearl clutching" by some groups, each to their own i say, but the game specifically made for this type of gamer just dosen't have the RL audience to justify the price tag and dev costs :/

I really feel for a lot of the devs layed off due to cost cutting who just want to amke a good game with out the other BS going on

Haha, Pong on an old black and white tv was my first experience, multiplayer was shelling quarters into the Gallaga machine at the 7-eleven after high school practice or split screen on, if you were lucky, a 25 inch console.

Graphically, games are amazing these days, but sadly, I think I only bought 2, maybe 3 games last year and they were both Asian developers. Played the crap out of them but that only can go so far.
