Great job on the lighting. Did you add a spotlight on her in the top one, or is that all post effects? I feel bad for her. Thankfully I'm still taller than Roomba!

Tue, Jun 03I don't think gimp can edit like the other platforms like that, that's why I like it so much, keeps me grounded and challenged. But, yes, that is a good old spotlight kicked at a slight angle about a foot or so next to the camera, there are also one or two more a few feet above to give soft light where needed with wide angles in the spot light. Then there are two primitives in the sky to illuminate the building in a slight blue light. These primitives also give light behind the bots so they were able to stand out more rather than be red eyeballs in the background.

Tue, Jun 03Also, if you look at the original and see how the rain was all red in front of the bot? I had to render the photo twice, once with rain and once without and then I laid them over top each other in layers and removed the red rain from the light. This was a challenge even in post work. Whatever it take to show people they don't need AI. I'm going to possibly make a channel soon so people can see what I do and that you don't need ai for epic renders. Just skill and patients.
