Supergirl Ascendant
3D Render by SolisphotographyAnother Supergirl render. I always struggle with things like capes. I want them to flow just right. In this case, I set the gravity to .2 and air resistance to 0, then rotated the character back and to the left so the cape and skirt would simulate the way I wanted.
After rendering to a canvas, post-processing was pretty straightforward. I used Adobe Camera Raw to tone the 32-bit image. I added clarity and desaturated the overall image, then tweaked the saturation further in the calibration tab. I raised the black levels with the tone curve and added blue to the shadows and orange to the highlights.
Back in Photoshop and added a dodge and burn layer to create more depth, then brought the saturation of just the reds back to add a little pop.
