Mon, Aug 18there is no algorithm, they don't look at any factor, likes, badges, comments, etc., so no algorithm, just incompetent people (sorry but this is the most polite word I can find) I've already had a lot of problems with ridiculous censorship, I already said that this place is now a small deviant art, groups, little groups, it doesn't matter if you do a good job but how many friends you have, it almost seems like it's more important to kiss some ass than to do a good job, develop a concept, etc., I'm tired of these things, the worst thing is how this place is managed, it reminds me of slushe.. either you think like them or you're cornered, I understand that you sell your products and these dynamics don't interest you, for those who only make images it's different.

That means some RenderHub mod/admin shared it to one of the RenderHub accounts elsewhere. Some have been to my surprise (going both ways - ones I thought shouldn't make it, but did; some I thought should, but didn't).
I don't think I'm part of any *in* crowd, but there are some people who like what I post. And there are things people post that I like. Sometimes I'll miss something, which sucks.

Wed, Aug 20Everyone has their own way of seeing things. I've never talked about the enlarged works in the gallery, but about the works on the front page. I don't know what you call them here, let's say highlighted. It's clear that there's a person who chooses according to their own taste, but it's not personal taste that counts, but the work done, the development of the concept, etc.

Let's take a look at the issue: some time ago, there was a thread by Foxy3D on exactly this topic:

There you can read: " The owner hand-picks images to feature on the main page of RenderHub, and he would like to feature even more! " So it's not about the taste of other artists/creatives or any algorithms, but solely about the very personal taste of the owner (which, to be honest, I don't share and find boring/mainstream).
So, stick with it and keep publishing your great work. And if " the owner " doesn't like it, who cares? Others will like and appreciate your work all the more
