Get Your Artwork Featured on the Main Page of RenderHub
The owner hand-picks images to feature on the main page of RenderHub, and he would like to feature even more!
How do you get your artwork featured?
Images must be submitted as a wallpaper so they can properly fit in the main page image section.
Wallpaper submissions must be at least 3840x2160 pixels.
The system will automatically create different sizes and formats to fit a variety of devices.
Although nudity is allowed on wallpapers, the main page images must be family-friendly.
Featured artists receive credit and a link to their gallery.

Guess I won't get anything featured, as I don't render anything at that high of a resolution. And I have hundreds of wallpaper-format images.

Tue, May 21, 2024There's no need to render at that high of a resolution. There are plenty of image upscale tools out there.
I use Topaz Gigapixel, and it's pretty amazing. There are some free ones out there, too. I haven't tried those, but it might be worth a shot.

Fri, May 24, 2024As of April 2024, nearly 60% of desktop users are using 1080p resolution, according to Steam user stats alone.
I know how to upscale, and I print up to 16x20 posters without a loss in resolution, but that isn't the point.

Mon, Jul 01, 2024Page load speed is really important, especially on the index page. So I don't think we'll see that added as an "auto-start" thing.
However, I already have a feature request in to the coders for something kind of like this.
The request is for a button that would load a pop-up window that plays a slideshow like you describe.
What do you think about that?

O.o Not Sure if this would be better How About A Border around which Wallpapers in the Wallpaper Section to Highlight those that are chosen might be easier to implement.

I'm more than ok with it, that nudity won't be shown on the main page (just because I find all the nudes very boring)
but what's with violence (and kind of)?
I wouldn't say, it's family-friendly to show blood as well, or shooting tanks, there is already more than enough war in this world.
Just my 2 cents.

Tue, Jul 23, 2024There really is no guideline for what "family-friendly" means for the main page images. I'm sure the owner just uses his judgement.
I just wrote that there because people have actually asked why their nude wallpapers are not being chosen for the main page rotation.
