Lilith - Mecha Succubus
3D Render by RedshadesTDThere are not that many Sci-fi Succubus designs out there, so I think I'll just plug in the concept hole a bit with this character.
Character story :
Lilith is a mechanical Succubus, born of high technology. Capable of shape-shifting into any form to match and satisfies one's most desired fantasy. Adept in deep infiltration and intelligent gathering. Equipped with a nimble and deadly energy whip.
I started form her human form, a typically seen succubus design is somewhat simple to not distract from their physique, so I work around that and add some details and colors to already existing details. Then from that I adapt into sci-fi designs for her mech form. You can see some similar detail shapes on her hair style, choker, boot, shoe, pointy glove, elf ear, eyes; they can be compare in the "Shape-shift" render.
Similar to her human form, I wanted her mech form to look feminine and sleek, so I intentionally avoid too much silhouette-breaking details that could damages her appeal. Finding a new way to adapt hair style and face into a scifi character is my totally my thing. Her hair however is something I've just done for the first time, many hard surface shapes that forms a hairstyle. I'm quite happy with her outcome and would definitely expand on this style in the future.
A-Z done by me. This one tool a good year to make since she is a personal project character and jobs keep taking my time from her. Concept development in Zbrush; modeling in Zbrush, Blender; textured with Substance Painter and some more procedural texturing in Blender; final render in Blender and post process with Photoshop.
