Character Design:
Artstation's running challenge is very cool. Exploring the idea of a time traveler back and forth to create some unique character designs.
I love medieval europe culture and equipment, so it's a no brainer for me to pick a knight for my subject.Lion, gold, royal blue, chivalric knights are all so iconic for Europe. So that's the color scheme settled. Lance and shield must be my most favorite items, too bad big lance is not really feasible in real combat; but what if our hero have super human strength ! That's can take care of the giant lance for the character, combine with a lance- shape modern weapon such as the Solothurn S18 - 1000 to make a unique weapon for him that signals the idea of the challenge.

I love making cinematic models, seeing all my work shows up on a render lossless always warms my heart, and I love designing my own character. SoI joined the Film/VFX category with my own character.
I started way too late for this challenge, however working under a tight timeline pressures me to explore new and strange ways to make it in time.And in the end I thoroughly enjoy this journey with many thing I learned.
Character story :
The Lionknight - Leohardt, was born noble in a realm of creatures and magics. Reverend by all. With royal trainers and counseling from the kingdom's top mind he grown up to be a great leader and fighter for his people.
One fateful fight, a great dark caster rips times and space in their last breath of curse. Creatures and peoples from all times and universes collides. Strange alliance, arch enemies, love, death, honor all meets with other realities.
Our hero found himself alone in a military barrack, under siege from unspeakable terrors. Under new cooperation craftsman would combine strange new arsenal with a near and dear weapon style for Leo. With the new alliance and fort secure, our hero sets to repair the crumpling timeline itself.
