Sci Fi Bedroom - Blender - Free Download
3D Render by MASSX_RZThis is Endless Journey, a sci fi Bedroom Inside a spaceship.
I made this project about 4 years ago on February 2022 for pawnisher’s infinite journey contest. the project is my first experience with non-destructive modeling and semi-procedural texturing. now the project was not finished in time and i did only the modeling and later on texturing and i have been busy since but finally a week ago i decided to finish it to share it with you, i made a quick setup for the lighting and added a character from daz, made her a hoodie and rendered the final images.
The concept of this render comes from the contest, endless journey, a very long journey inside a spaceship, such journey can become very boring as there is not much to look at, except stars. ( i know they are beautiful but looking at the same scene for years… ) so the idea was that the character enters the room with zero gravity, grabs on to the red handle, activates the gravity from the panel mounted to the wall, takes of her shoes, sits by the window, grabs her tablet, plays a music and then chooses a scenery which will take place on the window, the window turns into a display, displaying whatever is the theme of the song or the character wants to see.
a train ride through a rainy forest, a train ride with cityscape view in lo-fi style, or skyscrapers with neon lights and glowing windows under water like bioshock perhaps and so on.
though, I didn’t have time to finish the project, in fact i only rendered it 3-4 years later. so I’m sharing it with you for free.
Everything You see in the image is included in the files except for the character and background views outside the window.
Download For Free ( Added FBX And USD filed in case you don't work with blender )

I’d love to hear your feedback.
Thank you.

This looks amazing and heaven, so generous from you to give it away for free.
Maybe I really should give Blender a try.

Wed, Sep 17I render in Daz Studio. So it will take me a long time doing conversion before I'd make a render.

Wed, Sep 17I wanted to make USD and FBX files too to make it easier for everyone to download and work with it, however since most assets are using modifiers the converted versions were quite heavy and I have a very poor internet with high packet loss, uploading those would have been a huge pain. so sorry for that.

thats bad, sorry but there is nothing i can do.
you could try blender though.
it's really easy and intuitive.
you could also try breaking down the parts in blender and export them as other formats, just remember, don't export from the original blender file i have provided, load the fbx or usd inside another blender and then export from there.

hey guys, this is a video guide in case you downloaded the files, it will go through every single object and explains some simple features of some of them which are made in a non-destructive way.

Woah, thank you so much for this. You are beyond generous. I do render in Daz, but have been looking into learning lighting and rendering in Blender. This just made me inspired to start.

Fri, Sep 19thank you so much for your kind comment. I think I'll add an fbx version for people rendering in other software as well, so they can work with this as well, I'll update the post as soon as i do that. but i do encourage you to learn blender for lighting and so on, it can be really fun. you can even download this project start relighting this yourself. have fun.
This looks amazing, and that's very generous of you. Great work!
Please consider adding this to RenderHub as a downloadable product. We don't have a problem with "large files for free" like you mentioned on your ArtStation page.
Additionally, that will allow you to edit this gallery item and use the "Marketplace Items Used" feature. That will automatically add a link here to the product page.
https://www.renderhub.com/product-add
I also noticed above that you mentioned a poor internet connection. You don't have to worry about uploading everything here. When you create a product, you have the option to use an "alternative upload" method. Just add your main Google Drive link there. We'll take care of downloading it and adding it to your product page. For the other two Google Drive packages, just shoot a message to support with links to those. Our staff can take care of combining everything to make it easy for you.
Again, amazing work! I hope to see it available here.

Sun, Sep 21thank you so much. and thank you for the time you have put into reading everything. yess the poor internet connection is my problem, because i was actually considering uploading some other assets here too and was looking for the time to do so, and now that you have mentioned you support google drive I'll definitely do it as soon as possible.
I knew renderhub existed but only made an account recently to enter the fashion contest 2, you guys have created a great community and everyone is so nice. I'll definitely post more in the coming days.
