The Abyss
3D Render by dwindtI'm relieved this render is complete. I've found myself bangling over The Abyss. Thank Goodness for Hope. Hang on to it for dear life and make the necessary changes while you still have the chance.
Hopefully, I'll sleep better tonight.
Whoever is out there, dangling over the Abyss, may you find the support and the strength to find Hope and hang on for dear life!
God bless you All!

Would also be a fitting contribution to my ME AND I challenge, don't you think?

Tue, Sep 23The only way I survived was not allowing myself a second of thought about the old ways. The fact that I had a saviour to pray to was my saving Grace. One has no idea how difficult this render was for me. My ultimate Hope is that it may reach someone out there in time. It's not a trip you wish to travel alone BUT you're the only one that can take the first step! You are also the only one that can keep you on course.
I'm sure there's an audience that will only see the top half of the render. That of Hope.

Tue, Sep 23Hope was the first thing I saw in your picture.
I had more difficulty interpreting the model (or rather, the model's pose)
BTW - thanks a lot for your PM, will answer later ...

Tue, Sep 23A pose of shock and realisation of his situation. A glimpse into his present, a stare straight into his becoming. The brink of the life changing decision. A moment of paralytic horror, a spasm in the wrist recognising the horror he has become, the reality he has made for himself in his oblivious cocoon of self-pity, spitefulness, despair and the necessity to fling that right arm up and grab onto Hope, onto life, with all his might...or not!

Tue, Sep 23In the subject's case, the decision to grab onto life has already been made. Notice the twist in the torso. The decision from realisation of present situation, the subject has already made up his mind to twist and grab for Hope. It's the only way I could handle this render. I woke up at 04h20 yesterday morning. My colon had spasmed. That's from extreme tension. You won't find me doing many horror renders without reason.
