Tall, impossibly thin, its skin shimmered like liquid metal, catching the dim light with an unnatural gleam. Its eyes were deep, ancient, swirling with galaxies she could never hope to understand.
She couldn’t move. Couldn’t speak.
Not out of fear but because something vast and unknowable seeped through her body, blurring sensation, suspending her in a strange limbo between presence and absence.
This wasn’t a dream.
It didn’t mean to harm her.
It came to take her, beyond the limits of flesh and memory, into a place that spoke in colors unnamed, in whispers older than language itself.
