Help, please! Does anybody know how to bend the reins properly?
3D Render by MjrkEach time I try to bring the reins of the horse into position, they rip of the halter“
(the rings that are attached to the mouth piece).
No matter if I try from the front part or from the back, the reins rip of the headpiece!?!
Trying to change the form with Mesh Grabber doesn’t really help (as one can see here).
This problem occurs on every set that contains reins be it an outfit for a single horse
or a set for some coach or Santas Sleigh.
I usually deleted the reins, exported the whole model to Cinema4D and made some new
Reins that fit in the specific positions of horse and rider.
Does anybody know how to set up reins properly? I’m open for suggestions (well, at least as far as this matter is concerned : )

I used to be able to do it in Poser, but I have not tried yet in DS. Do they break down into segments?

Mon, Dec 08, 2025Kind of - I received 1 detailed answer to my question in the DAZ-gallery. I should try it with dforce.
That sounds reasonable, but when I tried, I found out that the reins are not really prepared for dforce.
I'll add another picture so you can see what happened

Mon, Dec 08, 2025Ouch, that's a mess. Can you change them into dForce? You can alter stuff in Poser changing conforming to dynamic. Can that be done in Daz? Change an item to dForce that actually works?

Tue, Dec 09, 2025No, the reins were supposed to be ready for dforce. Well, who ever made them hasn't tried it before as it seems.

Tue, Dec 09, 2025That should have been caught when the product was uploaded for testing. Apparently, they are not testing as they should.
