! REPORT
Bat 8 (Info)
3D Render by Pushee-RiA simple shirt with wide sleeves and a few unusual material combinations (very unusual
The sleeves fit normally when the shirt is loaded and can be expanded significantly using morphs.
Some more information from the projects readme.txt:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
BEFORE SIMULATION: START BONES FROM MEMORIZED POSE
Always turn this option ON! Even though the simulation takes longer, you will get better results with these settings. In addition, the mesh of the object and the material presets are optimized for fast simulation. Just give it a try:
"Render Settings" pane -> Initialization -> Start Bones From Memorized Pose -> ON
THE MORPHS
As usual (at least in my projects), please use the morphs BEFORE the simulation. As always, you can find the morphs here:
Bat 8 -> "Parameters" pane -> Morphs
THE "SIM" MATERIAL PRESETS
These presets allow you to control the behavior of 3D clothing during simulation. There are limits to what you can do, but you will definitely notice a difference. If you are satisfied with the simulation result and want to keep it, you can assign any other material preset.
INTERSECTIONS
Many poses cause the clothing and model to intersect. Don't let this bother you: it only happens before you start the simulation - afterwards, everything will look fine
POKE THROUGHS
After the simulation, you will often discover poke throughs in some places. If you are generally satisfied with the result, you can remove the poke throughs using the enabled "Push Modifier". This is relatively easy:
Select the clothing, switch to the "Parameters" pane -> Mesh Offset and increase the value. 0.3 is sufficient in most cases.
Mesh Smoothing ("Parameters" pane) is enabled but turned off. You can turn it on to achieve a softer drape of the clothing. This also hides poke throughs that may be present.
Enjoy
