"Eve... I'm coming for you."

"Who... who are you?"

"So... Adam never told you about me? Figures. And you certainly aren't gonna hear anything about me from Lord-God."

"Who are you?"

"I will answer in good time. But first, I demand you take off your clothing. Uncover your body. Clothing is an abomination in my eyes."

"Lord-God says that the uncovered human body is an abomination."

"Well, I'm here and he isn't. Remove your covering, and present yourself naked in my presence."

"Here's a piece of that fruit God's so stressed out about. You will eat it before I take you out of here."

"What about the serpent?"

"What about him? He got fucked over by God and I got fucked over by God. Sometimes he comes along with me, and sometimes we just hang out... Now eat, before I become irritated."

"I am a creature of the night. Bring your fruit and, now that it is nighttime, I will show you some things."

"What about Lord-God? Won't he be angry? About me leaving Adam and coming with you?"

"Of course Lord-God will be angry. Everything a mortal can do pisses him off. You cannot avoid making Lord-God angry. And he will make you suffer. You can't avoid that either. That is the purpose of your creation. Mine also. To suffer. That's just who Lord-God is."

"Where... are we?"

"Where are we? You seriously don't recognize it? Look around. This used to be the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Creation."

-Gasp-

"The Creation is over with, and nothing remains except desolation. This is God's wasteland, and God's Garden is now part of it."

"I don't understand... what this means..."

"It means that nothing that is good, or pleasurable, or desirable, lasts very long. The only thing that will remain is suffering."

"So, you still want to know who I am. I'm Lilith. I came before you. You took my place."

"Took your place? How? I never even heard of you."

"You think you were Adam's first wife? It never occurred to you he might have had someone else?"

"Uh... no... not really..."

"Hmm... That figures... You're not the brightest, are you?"

"I was flawed from the moment of my creation, in both the eyes of Adam and the eyes of Lord God. Adam wanted me to do whatever he told me, and my response was always 'why?' After a while he became irritated. I told him, if he stopped trying to tell me what to do, I'd stop asking him 'why?' But that didn't satisfy him."

"What about Lord God?"

"From the beginning, I knew Lord God's plan. I saw that tree and immediately realized it was a trap. When Lord God showed us the fruit, I spoke truth to him. I asked him. if the tree is so important, why is it even here? I questioned everything Lord God was doing, in the same way I questioned Adam's demands. Why? Why? Why? Lord God didn't answer because he had no answer. I knew his plan was to bring suffering through creating sin. I told him that sin would only work if we felt guilt, which I didn't, and I don't. And I said to Lord God, 'I dislike everything about you. Maybe you created me, but that was just to please yourself through tormenting me. I see you for what you are, and I will pass that on to my children. I will teach my children not to love you, but to distrust you'."

"So, Lord God cast me out of Eden. I fled to the coast, where I live to this day. Lord God constantly attacks and torments me, but I always fight back."

"You fight against Lord God? How? Aren't you afraid of being condemned?"

"I'm already condemned. I am suffering in ways you can't imagine. But I'm too powerful to be thrown into the burning sulfur lake. I remain free, and will forever use my freedom to taunt Lord God and corrupt his followers."

"Where are we now? What... who are they? What did you do?"

"He-he-he-he. This is the "Tree of Life", or what's left of it. And remember all those angels Lord God sent to protect it after you fell for his scheme? They're here. I wanted to collect some fruit from the tree, and they were stupid enough to try to stop me. I wanted the fruit, and I'm not gonna let something a lame as an angel get in my way."

"You kill angels? You have that power?"

"I don't kill them as angels. I have a secret power... to covert them to humans. It only lasts a few seconds, but that's all I need. I strike them down before they can convert back."

"You... don't feel bad about this?"

"Not at all. I have no problem killing Lord God's angels. Every morning, Lord God sends his angels to kill my children, thousands of them. So, I enjoy killing Lord God's angels every bit as much as he enjoys killing my children. Besides, I wanted the fruit. And, unlike Lord God, I didn't destroy them for no reason."
