It’s not a performance.
This is how I remind myself that my body still belongs to me, even when I show it.
Sometimes I look at myself and wonder what remains when I let the layers fall away.
And here I am, answering that question without speaking.
I’m not asking for approval.
I’m not trying to provoke.
I just want to feel real, without excuses, without pretending.
If someone looks at me, I want them to understand this:
there’s no shame in my skin,
no doubt in the way I hold myself,
and this version of me deserves to exist too.
Today I stand like this, exactly as I am,
and that is enough."*".
