Upon his return from the African provinces, the former governor of the area previously ruled by Carthage brought with him an enormous baggage train of personal items and gifts for family and friends.
After his reunion with important political connections and reuniting with his family in Rome, the imperial dignitary turned his attention to his favorite concubine in his private chambers.
“I have a something special for you. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant for you. But in order for you to use it, I want you to remove your robe."
Unpacking the crate, he lifted out what appeared to be a simple chair but with a difference: It had a large wooden peg emanating from the center of the seat. Next, he took from the trunk a fine silk bag from which emerged a polished ivory phallus with a hole in its base which he placed over the peg and locked in place.
“When I am away, and you long for me, I want you to think of me as you use this to satisfy your desires.
It also has an open back so that I might watch you enjoy yourself. I want you to try it out now."
The naked slave girl smiled and squealed with delight.
“Thank you master, you are most kind."
