Nice, also just FYI if anyone is interested you can use 7zip to do this also, right click and and open with - choose another app. To compressed it select gzip from the dropdown and then rename the file and replace the gz with duf or dsf.
If you're as much of a weirdo as I am"7z e some_compressed_duf_file.duf -so" and redirect into a file in powershell. Conversely "7z a -tgzip uncompressed.dson compressed_file.duf"

Excited to try this out…. sadly, did not see it was for pc. I m on mac. May dig out my old pc and try it. ‥any chance you are making a version for mac?

DAZ Studio DUF/DSF (De)Compressor
A utility for vendors or for those who want to shrink a bit their library.
Or decompress the files to edit them.
Just select the folder with duf/dsf files and click the find button…
it will find and list all compressed/uncompressed files in this folder and subfolders (if the subfolder search checkbox is selected)
Then just click the compress/decompress button - done!
Just in case, make a backup of the duf/dsf files BEFORE running process!!!
Some antiviruses are false-positive for virus, trojan.
This may be due to:
1. Building and creating an exe from a Python script using Nuitka or PyInstaller.
2. No digital signature (it is not free).
3. It’s simply an unknown program for antivirus software.
If you have doubts, you can build the application yourself from the script;
it’s included in the archive in the “Source and Buildfolder - just install Python.
