This is the most detailed 3d model of NASA Launch complex 39A ever created on the web.
Ultra high quality and complete 3d model. Optimized for professional projects.
Based on the reference materials of the original launch complex.
Detailed references were used to design these models, ( drawings, photos, documentary, satellite images and videos ).
Modeled in 7 months, taking care of each detail.
Models are high resolution and suitable for the most extreme close-up renders with incredible level of details.
The model has many animated parts, ( Rotating Service Structure, Swing Arms, Flame Deflectors, ... etc ).
Most moving parts are designed to rotate or perform correctly, They linked to helper objects and pivoted correctly.
Rotating Service Structure can rotate through 120 degrees along circular rails to fit with Fixed Service Structure and shuttle as shown on animation video (available for download).
All visible elements are included.
All textures and materials are included.
Textures are high resolution jpeg images, (8192 x 8192) pixels for main field (Diffuse and Bump), and (8192 x 8192) pixels, for pad (Diffuse and Bump), applied with UW UnWrap.
Total Textures: 58
Shuttle has 5 different textures included for Discovery, Endeavour Columbia, Challenger, and Atlantis.
HDRI Map not included.
Scene is set up in layers and groups to reduce complexity of the model and for easy selection or any re-configure.
Most objects are named for easy management.
2 versions included : V-Ray and standard materials.
Light setup and render settings are included in V-Ray version only.
