A custom environment map, created from the backdrop artwork, provides complementary ambient illumination. Two custom-colored ghost lights add adjustable lighting that can be tailored to your characters, props, and desired atmosphere.

Want a different mood? Adjust the brightness and color of either ghost light to create subtle illumination, dramatic highlights, or your own unique lighting effects.

An optional 3D shadow catcher provides additional flexibility when your characters or props need grounding within the scene.

Simple Scene Setup

The supplied scene is designed to give you a coordinated starting point for character and prop insertion.
1. Load the included Daz Studio scene.
2. Insert and position your favorite 3D characters and props.
3. Adjust the two ghost lights' brightness, color, or placement to achieve your desired lighting.
4. Enable the optional shadow catcher if additional contact shadows are needed.
5. Render your composition using the supplied camera and recommended settings.

The included HDRI, ghost lights, and camera provide a starting point for lighting and composition, while allowing you to customize the scene to suit your creative vision.

Backdrop Dimensions and Render Options
• Original backdrop dimensions: 20 16 inches
• Aspect ratio: 5:4
• Alternative proportional dimensions: You can easily create your render in 10 8 inches, or other sizes maintaining the same ratio
Maintain the 5:4 aspect ratio when adjusting render dimensions to preserve the backdrop's intended composition.
