Portable Record Player 3D Model
Philips GF-623 Portable Record Player
About the object
Portable record players have been popular since the dawn of time. That is if the dawn of time was about one hundred years ago. This 1970s Philips GF-623 Portable Record Player can play 33 1/3, 45, and 78rpm stereo records, features sliders for tone and volume, and even has a microphone input.
About the model
An old music player refurbished and restored in 3D, perfectly to scale and painstakingly modeled, to be as realistic as possible. All sliders, the tonearm, the record platter, the speakers, everything you could ever need to handle, are their own objects and can be animated easily. Optionally, there are rigged versions of this model.
About the textures
The textures for this model were made in Substance Painter and come in three different resolutions. Apart from the color, metallic, and roughness maps, you also get baked ambient occlusion, and both DirectX and OpenGL normal maps.
