Reclaimed Guardian 3D Model
Reclaimed Guardian is a monumental stone statue gradually overtaken by natural growth, where a once-carved staff has transformed into the foundation of a living tree. The piece explores the quiet transition from human intention to natural continuity — not destruction, but adaptation over time.
The statue stands approximately 2.45 meters tall, designed to feel architectural and grounded rather than exaggerated. Botanical elements were integrated with an emphasis on believable growth logic: roots anchor into cracks, vines follow gravity and structure, and foliage density remains restrained to preserve the statue’s silhouette.
This asset was created as a standalone hero piece, prioritizing material contrast between stone and organic elements, clean forms, and timeless presentation. Wind animation was intentionally avoided to maintain a sense of permanence and stillness.
Key features:
Monumental scale (statue height approx. 2.45m)
Carefully integrated tree, roots, and vines
Clean silhouette and restrained foliage density
PBR materials with consistent texel density
Neutral, timeless presentation
Tools used:
Blender, SpeedTree, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag
Use case:
Portfolio presentation, cinematic stills, visualization, and high-quality environment storytelling.
