Big Blue Shader (updated)
This shader pack was created on the occasion of a (current) challenge in the forum of Daz3d.com, called "Freebie Challenge March 2026 - 'The Big Blue'".
Contents of the pack:
9 hair shaders, 3 skin shaders, 3 metal shaders, 3 fabric shaders, 2 plastic shaders, 1 glass shader*.
To use the package, unzip the folder and into your DS folder structure and you will find the shaders under .
Please understand it literally as presets that benefit from an individual adjustment by you. I deliberately avoided adding click solutions for different values for glossiness, metallicity, tiling, etc. Call me lazy :) But I just had no idea what would be useful.
To adapt the individual shaders to your needs, I recommend the documentation on Iray Uber Shader at DAZ3D.com.
A note about the images:
I would like to thank Arah (Easter Sunday Hair for Kids 4), Luna_s20 (AMV Braid Hair/ G8F/ DS), Propschick (Merry Hair & Autumn Hair), Excessive (Short Hairs G8F Volume I), squarepeg3d (Hair - Techno Weasel) and Retarka (RTK DBH Eden Club Traci Hair Short for G8f and G8.1f) for the hair, as well as kenmo for the Zeppelin (kenmos fantasy zeppelin) and Mekheke (DA) for Argonian Male for Genesis 8 Male.
A note to non-DAZ users: The shaders contain almost all (20 of 22) maps for Basecolor, Roughness/ Glossiness, Normal, Height which can also be used in other 3D software.
If you notice any errors, please don't hesitate to contact me!
