DForce - Sexy Midnight Witch Costume for G9 G8F

A sexy Midnight Witch for Halloween, for Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Female: a cropped georgette blouse with lace cuffs in four sleeve cuts, a ten-gore satin skirt in four lengths, a sheer high-low chiffon overskirt, a G-string, a stitched leather belt with a crescent-moon buckle and charms on chains, and a felt witch hat. The blouse, skirts, overskirt and G-string are cut from sewing patterns and draped as cloth; the belt and the hat are modelled.

Every skirt length and sleeve cut is its own item, so you load just the one you want: Skirt Long (knee length - the hem sits just above the knee); Skirt Mini (mid-thigh); Skirt Short (the hem sits at the buttock crease, so it covers the seat when she stands); Skirt Micro (a micro length - from behind it shows the lower buttocks and the G-string's back string). The blouse is cropped (the midriff shows) and comes as Blouse Long Sleeves (long bell sleeves), Blouse Elbow Sleeves, Blouse Short Sleeves and Blouse Sleeveless (a strapless sweetheart top with a finished armhole), every sleeve ending in a 6 cm lace cuff. The chiffon overskirt is high-low - just below the knee at the back, mid-thigh in front - and is made to go over the Skirt Long.

The belt is the detail piece: a flat 3 cm leather strap with saddle stitching, a tooled border and pebble grain, a cast crescent-moon buckle with a keeper loop, and a D-ring at the left hip on a folded leather tab. Three chains hang from the ring with a crescent moon, a five-point star and a round-bottom corked potion flask (glass, cork and liquid are their own surfaces). The felt hat has soft dents in the crown, a rolled brim binding, a band and a crescent buckle, with Hat Larger / Hat Raise / Hat Tilt Back dials and a one-click 'Hat Big Hair' fit.

dForce versions included: Skirt Long, Skirt Mini, Overskirt and Blouse Long Sleeves also come as dForce copies, with the cloth settings (satin, chiffon, georgette) and pin maps already on them - the waistbands, the top of the overskirt, the bodice and the upper sleeves are pinned; the skirt panels, the overskirt, the lower sleeves and the lace cuffs are left free to move when you simulate. The conforming items need no simulation.

TEXTURES
Fabric finish maps (weave normal + roughness) for brocade, georgette, leather, satin and velvet (latex is smooth, without a weave map), print masks for the Diffuse Overlay (cobweb, bats, moon and stars, pentagram, pinstripe, damask) and a lace opacity map for the cuffs. The fabric maps share one 8 cm tile, so finishes, colours and prints stack without tiling clashes. The belt has its own maps - saddle stitches, tooled border, pebble grain and burnished edges over a grey base - so the Belt Colours keep every detail. The folds of the blouse, skirts and overskirt come from the cloth drape (real geometry).

TECHNICAL
- Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Female, the same meshes on both (Genesis 8.1 Female uses the Genesis 8 Female files).
- 12 conforming items: the 10 garments with smoothing and collision against the body; the belt and the hat have no smoothing, so they keep their modelled shape.
- 4 dForce copies (single-sheet cloth) with dForce settings and pin maps on every surface: satin 120 g/m2, chiffon 40 g/m2, georgette 70 g/m2, self-collision on.
- Tested in Daz Studio 6 and Daz Studio 4.24: every item, outfit and preset loads from the package on its own, on Genesis 9, Genesis 8 Female and Genesis 8.1 Female.

NOTES
- The conforming skirts and the overskirt are made for standing and arm poses; the Mini, Short and Micro skirts also walk without poke-through. They are not made for seated, kneeling, crouching, reclining, spell-casting or wide-leg poses: there the thighs come through the conforming skirts, the short skirts press into the lap and the satin can push through the chiffon overskirt. For those poses the dForce copies (Skirt Long dForce, Skirt Mini dForce, Overskirt dForce, Blouse Long Sleeves dForce) are the ones to load and simulate. The Skirt Short and the Skirt Micro have no dForce copy: keep them for standing and walking poses.
- dForce: load '!Midnight Witch Outfit dForce' (or single dForce items), pose her, then Simulation > Simulate. Pinned by weight maps: the waistbands and the first 15 mm below them, the top 2 cm of the overskirt, the bodice and the upper 15 cm of the sleeves; from there the cloth eases in and the skirt panels, the overskirt, the lower sleeves and the lace cuffs move. The dForce copies are single-sheet cloth, so the sheer presets read a little sheerer on them.
- The Overskirt is made to go over the Skirt Long. Like every item it collides with the body, which keeps its long back hem off the legs when she walks; in the dForce outfit the dForce overskirt simulates over the Skirt Long dForce.
- Walking with the dForce overskirt: in a wide walking stride the light chiffon drapes onto the back calf at the knee, as real chiffon does. For clean walking shots use the conforming Overskirt, or the Skirt Long dForce on its own (the store's dForce walking image).
- The G-string sits on the skin and stays under the skirts when she stands and walks. Seated or with the legs apart it shows under the short skirts, and from behind the Micro skirt shows the lower buttocks and the back string. On very wide-hip Genesis 8 Female shapes the front of the satin Skirt Long can lie on the G-string when she stands - leave the G-string off under the Skirt Long there (it is hidden by the long skirt anyway).
- Hands on the hips: the belt keeps its exact shape, so hands resting on the belt in hands-on-hips poses may need a small hand adjustment; keep the hands just off the lace cuffs too. The metal parts and the flask move as solid pieces and cannot swing, so in seated, crouching, wide-stance, hip-shifted (hands-on-hips) or spell-casting poses the hip and thighs can rise into the strap and the hanging charms - adjust the pose or hide the belt there.
- Raised arms: the conforming long bell sleeves hang straight down from the arms like wings; for sleeves that fall along the arms try the dForce blouse and simulate. In seated and reclining poses the sleeves can touch the hands and thighs.
- Long bell sleeves with the belt: with the arms hanging straight down the wide conforming bells pass through the belt charms, the flask and the skirt at the hips - move the arms a little away from the body or use the Blouse Long Sleeves dForce and simulate.
- Bust Drape (every blouse): shaped on a full-bust figure - 1.0 there, lower values for smaller busts; it loads at 0.
- Neckline with the arms down: with the arms lowered close to the body and Bust Drape near 1, the bodice corner can stand up a little where the neckline meets the sleeve; with the upper arms held a little out from the sides it stays flat.
- Seat Drape (the four skirts and the overskirt): on full-hip figures the conforming satin follows the buttock cleft and sinks between the thighs at the front - Seat Drape 1.0 bridges both like real satin (shaped on a full-hip figure), lower values for slimmer figures; it loads at 0.
- Skin Clearance (Parameters > General > Mesh Offset): the Mini, Short and Micro come with 1 mm - it keeps wet-skin, sweat and makeup skin layers under the skirt where a walking or bending thigh presses into it; raise it for thicker skin layers, set it to 0 for a closer fit. On the Long and the Overskirt it is 0 (in strong leg poses the push works against the cloth collision); raise it a little for skin layers in standing poses.
- Big or high hair: updos and buns can poke through the back of the hat crown - apply 'Hat Fit' > 'Hat Big Hair' or dial 'Hat Larger' / 'Hat Raise'; long hair worn down fits best.
- Very curvy hips: dial 'Skirt Looser' on the conforming skirt.
- Belt over the Skirt Micro or Short: dial 'Belt Fit Micro' / 'Belt Fit Short' on the belt to 100 % - it lifts the strap clear of the fuller waistband and swings the potion out over the flare, so the flask hangs in front of the skirt.
- The 4 'Glow' potion presets switch on Iray emission in the potion colour; in a brightly lit scene they read as plain coloured liquid.
- Presets change only the surfaces of the items you select and stack in any order: select just the skirt to give it its own colour or print. A Looks preset sets every surface but keeps your sheer / solid and Lace On / Off settings (it turns the hat buckle back on).
