Cascadeur-DAZ Bridge - Two-Way Animation Transfer
Cascadeur-DAZ Bridge moves characters, poses, animations, props and cameras between Daz Studio and Cascadeur — in both directions, without a manual FBX round trip and without closing your scene.
Export a Genesis figure from Daz Studio, rig it in Cascadeur with the included Genesis Rig Assistant, animate it with Cascadeur's physics and auto-posing, and send the motion straight back onto the same figure in your Daz scene.
WHAT TRANSFERS
- Genesis figures with clothing and hair, rigged in Cascadeur in a couple of clicks
- Poses and full animations, in both directions, with their frame ranges
- Static objects and sets, keeping the placement they have in your Daz scene
- Cameras, with the lens and framing you composed in Daz Studio
- A fast pose loop: pose in Cascadeur and watch it land on the Daz figure automatically
BUILT FOR REAL SCENES
The bridge works inside a scene you have already built. You do not close it and you do not export all of it — you send across only what you need. A character sitting on a bench arrives sitting on that bench. A figure you turned in Daz keeps its heading when the animation comes home. A character in high heels is rigged in its heel stance and returns with her feet on the floor.
Every transfer carries a metadata file with a skeleton fingerprint, so motion cannot be applied to a figure it was never made for. Undo Last Pose puts a figure back the way it was — Daz Studio's own undo cannot see a channel transfer.
SUPPORTED
- Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1, Genesis 9 and Genesis 9 Toon
- Daz Studio 4.2x and Daz Studio 6 — both plugins included, one purchase
- Windows x64
- Cascadeur with Python command support
IMPORTANT: exporting animation out of Cascadeur uses Cascadeur's own FBX export, which requires a paid Cascadeur licence. Everything going from Daz Studio into Cascadeur works without one.
IN THE PACKAGE
One download per Daz version, each a complete bridge: the Daz plugin, the Cascadeur command package, and a PDF user guide covering installation, the full workflow, updating and troubleshooting. Installation is a manual file copy.
Daz Studio and Genesis are trademarks of Daz 3D, Inc. Cascadeur is a product of Nekki Limited. This is an independent interoperability plugin and is not affiliated with either company.
