1969 Hoverjet Concept 3D Model
This is a 3D model of a 1969 hover jet concept from an old book I got when I was in elementary school. It came from 'The How and Why Wonderbook of Rockets and Missiles.(c1969) As a child I alwars liked that picture so I decided to make a 3D model of it.
It is modeled with the idea of 1960's era technology in mind.
Landing gear is retractable and lift fans are animatable. The rocket drums can rotate and missiles can be made to launch.
Textures are 4096 x 4096 and come with :
Color
Specular
Ambient Occlusion
Normal
Displacement
If someone is feeling particularly adventurous, they might want to try building this as a radio controlled model using quad copter / drone technology.
